Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 Years Required License: NY License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical Exemptions Only) Job Description: - Float required and weekends required on every other basis - Shifts are non-negotiable - Orientation occurs once a month for inpatient RNs and is non-negotiable - Completion of Stroke CEUs is mandatory due to Stroke Accreditation; 8 CEUs are required with 5.5 Stroke CEUs and NIH which is worth 3 credits acceptable to satisfy this requirement - RNs must pass the Dysrhythmia and Medication exams during the credentialing process with only two attempts allowed. Dysrhythmia exam passing score is 82% minimum, Medication exam passing score is 80% minimum. - Modules are completed during orientation and annually; they are non-billable and amount to 5 hours - Orientation is 16 hours and non-billable
