Position Overview:
Join our fast-paced, state-of-the-art Emergency Department, providing exceptional care in one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a travel nurse, you'll support a diverse patient population in a high-volume ED, with a focus on acute trauma and critical care. This role requires prior travel nurse experience, along with strong ED and telemetry skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, managing both trauma and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Monitor telemetry patients and manage critical care interventions.
- Assist with boarder patients and provide timely interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Job Requirements:
- RN License: Current New York (NY) State RN License.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience, including telemetry.
- Travel Experience: Prior travel nurse experience required.
Certifications:
- BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA only).
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA only).
