GI Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)Schedule: Full-time, Flexible Start Times (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM), 8-hour or 10-hour shiftsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and skilled GI Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care across all stages of endoscopic procedures. This position offers free parking for easy access to the hospital.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care in preparation, recovery, and intra-procedure phases of endoscopic procedures.Collaborate with physicians and LPNs during a variety of procedures, including:EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy): Biopsies, APC, hemorrhage control, dilation, foreign body removal, decompression.Colonoscopy: Biopsies and therapeutic interventions.ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography): Stent placement/removal, biopsies, dilation.ESU (Endoscopic Ultrasound): FNA, specimen collection.Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and clinical standards.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of GI Endoscopy RN experience.System Knowledge: Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system is required.Certification: Active BLS certification is required.Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
