Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - ICU Part Time Job Specialty: Acute Care – ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation, 24 hours per week (2-12 hour shifts), holiday rotation Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: - BLS, ACLS, PALS required during clinical orientation - Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire - CPI certification within 90 days of hire - Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire - TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire Must-Have: - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills - Computer literacy Job Description: - ICU Day/Night rotation from 7 am - 7 pm / 7 pm - 7 am - Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served - Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan - Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed - Provide the care required by pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups - Demonstrate behaviors consistent with professional principles, effective communication, and attention to the environment - Promote safety, dignity, respect, well-being, and healthy relationships - Enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling - Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred
