Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS; Preferred: PALS Must-Have: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - Must float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Intermediate Care, possible float to Emergency Department - Previous Cerner experience is needed; provide years of experience - SSN and DOB required at time of submission - 5 days or less of requested time off allowed, only one major holiday - Two supervisor references required Job Description: - Manage ICU and Intermediate Care patients - Night shift position for Registered Nurse specialized in ICU - Nurses will monitor telemetry for the entire hospital - Participation in patient care from telemetry observation to direct ICU care - Flexible to work every other weekend - Compliance with lab appointments and documentation within 48 hours post-signing - Orientation includes modules that are recoverable, with potential additional training during orientation - Required to complete specific certifications before starting, primarily ones affiliated with the American Heart Association Modules will be conducted during orientation and recorded via the designated system.
