Trauma Level One experience is required. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired. Must be comfortable and competent in caring for ICU patients. Environments include neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, and CCU. Progressive critical care unit (PCCU) and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement must also be covered. 1.5 years of experience in a 600 bed academic hospital is required, or 2 years of total experience including both travel and permanent positions.
