**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Coronary Care Unit (CCU)**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 2 years' experience required. First-timers accepted.**License:** Must have an active IL license or be in the application process.**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, and NIH required.**Must-Have:**- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Experience with multi-system organ failure- Expertise in chronic/acute renal failure- IV insulin protocols experience required**Job Description:**- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 4-bed ICU setting.- Work every other weekend without on-call requirements.- Float within the facility as needed to meet hospital requirements.- Engage in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and dysrhythmia management.- Manage IV therapy, including arterial line, central line, and PICC line care.- Administer blood products and handle various IV medications, including paralytics and sedation.- Assist with respiratory care, including ventilator management and thoracic procedures.- Prioritize infection prevention and adhere to isolation precautions.- Utilize Cerner charting software; experience preferred.- Complete non-billable orientation and annual virtual modules.Please reach out to the hiring manager to discuss scheduling requests, as block scheduling may be accommodated.
