Job Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: Ongoing Shift: 12-hour nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 3 years required License: Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC charting Job Description: - Provide critical care nursing expertise in a 14-bed ICU environment. - Deliver advanced care for conditions such as trauma, craniotomy, bowel resections, stroke, sepsis, COVID, and ARDS. - Administer neuro-interventional procedural post-operative care. - Manage complex medical drips, including but not limited to Levophed, dopamine, neosynephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin, nitroglycerin, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardene, cleviprex, and giapreza. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 to ensure optimal patient care and safety. - Collaborate effectively with ICU team members and other medical professionals. - Be prepared to float as necessary to similar units within scope, according to leadership directives. This role requires a strong skill set and dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a dynamic ICU setting.
