Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/18/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p (12x3) 36 hours per week, every third weekends required, no on call Length: 13 Weeks Requirements: IL License 2 years experience, 4 years preferred Skills/Experience requjired: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias; Arterial Line Managmenet; Blood Product Administration; Central line care/management; PICC line management; Emergency Medication; Titrate Cardiac Drips; Assist with management of BiPAP/CPAP; Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal; Care of Ventilated Patient; HFNC; Interpretation of ABGs; Suctioning (ETT, NT); Ventilator management; infection prevention; Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE; Phlebotomy AHA BLS AHA ACLS Skills/Experience preferred: IV Insulin Protocols; Accessing Ports; Starting IVs; CVA/Acute Stroke Management; ICP Monitoring; Chemotherapy Administration; Surgical wounds with drains/wound vac Stem Cell experience a plus but not required OCN preferred Electronic Documentation preferred Other Details: 1st time traveler OK COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Local Accepted (75 miles radius) ICU RN for Stem Cell Transplant and Car-T patient unit. 15 rooms/beds, avg daily census 7. Stem Cell experience a plus but not required. Float required (Med/Surg) and every third weekend required. No on call. Pyxis med system, EPIC documentation, SBAR communication. Days, 3x12s, 0. 2YR expeirence REQUIRED, 4 preferred. 1st time traveler OK. 24hr orientation on floor. Pewter scrubs (not provided). Certifications REQUIRED: ACLS & BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode). OCN preferred.
