Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU Float Pool Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, holidays as needed
Length: 8 Weeks
Requirements:
- NC License
- Minimum 2 Years experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Travel experience required
- Previous Charge exp preferred
Other Details - Traveler will experience patients from ALL levels of acuity ranging from ICU to MS
- Float required as needed
- Ratios: 1:4
**IMPORTANT NOTE! - This is a MEDICAL OVERFLOW FLOAT POOL. Traveler will experience patients from ALL levels of acuity ranging from ICU to MS. In the event there are no patients, traveler could be floated to another dept or campus if needed. Traveler may also float to the ED to task. Patient Ratios are 1:6** 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a EOW, holidays as needed Float required as needed. Minimum 2 yrs experience required. TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. *BLS, ACLS required. *Previous Charge exp preferred. *Ratios 1:4 Patient Diagnoses: Respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, severe sepsis, CHF, arrhythmias, seizure epilepsy, GI bleed, overdose, post-surgical monitoring, congestive heart failure, pulmonary emboli, drug overdoses, cardiac arrythmias. Also included would be patients requiring complicated medical and ventilator management. Low volume populations include patients with unstable angina, cerebral vascular accidents, and DKA. cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, and interventions in case of respiratory or cardiac arrest COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

ICU Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
