Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Level 3 Job Specialty: Radiology RN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience required License: New York RN license required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Strong communication skills - Ability to think critically - Enthusiastic, team-oriented, flexible, and organized Job Description: - Responsible for pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and observation care. - Provide care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure in an interventional radiology department. - Work within a fast-paced environment catering to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. - Experience with post-procedural care, especially in GI, is preferred but not required. - Specialize in care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. - Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience is preferred.
