Job Requirements- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Travel experience required
- Epic experience required
- No RTO within the first two weeks of starting
- C-section experience required
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: High risk, 33Week, low risk. Everything below 33 weeks are shipped out. PP feeders and growers.
Schedule Information- Upcoming orientation dates: 12/2 and 12/16
- Unit: Pregnancy & Birth Center- L&D/PP- Level 2
- Weekend Requirement: Every other
- Holidays: Every other or as needed
- Shifts: 8's and 12's varied starts 7-3:30, 3-11:30, 11-7:30
- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts
Unit Specific Information- # L&D Beds: 20 including PP
- # triage beds: 3-5 beds
- # births per day, per year: 1,000 a year
- Certs: BLS, NRP, Prefer ACLS, Advanced FHM, AWHONN
- Ratios: L&D 1:1 on occasion 2:1. PP 3-4 mother-baby couplets, Level II Nursery 1-3 infant per 1 RN
- FHM System: Fetal Link
- EMR: Cerner converting to Epic by Feb 2020
- OB/Neonatologist in house: OB in house 24/7, PA in house 24/7 covers for Neonatologist at night.
Additional Details- If you like winter sports we have plenty of skiing in the area - snowmobiling, snow shoeing - if there is snow - pretty much anything to do with snow, Currently we have two and soon to be three casino's in the State. Outlet shopping - and a lot of the wineries are still open.
