Job Details- EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE ON SUBMISSION TO PREVENT ANY DELAYS.
- As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI.
- COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
- Unit Details: # of Beds: 20 Snuggery: Level 1 Patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month EMR: EPIC Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
Job Requirements- 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
- 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience
- 2+ years Post Partum experience
- Must be able to care for laboring mothers
- Mother/Baby experience
- All certificates active & current
- Ability to read & interpret EFM
- Travel experience encouraged
- Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
Schedule Information- Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
- Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25%
- Call: 4.00 Charge: 3.00 (Not applicable to this need)
Unit Specific Information- Snuggery has 2 OB practices with midwives and obstetricians covering Labor & Deliver 24/7.
- Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
- A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
Additional Details- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
- NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
- Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
- Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
