TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28215 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Up to March 15, 2025) Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours can be offered Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: NC or Compact license (pending is acceptable for submission) Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: - Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Couplet Care - IV Start, Circulate, Telemetry - Experience in Mother/Baby care and labor and delivery - Ability to circulate in the OR for C/S deliveries and recover patients in PACU Job Description: - RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. - Target Ratios: L&D 1:1-2, Couplet care 1:3 (average) but could fluctuate based on unit needs. - Responsible for labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, newborn, and gyn patient diagnoses. - Must be able to perform OB triage, assist in labor, conduct vaginal deliveries, and circulate/recover in C/S staff procedures. - Responsible for remote telemetry monitoring and must sign off of strips, with the ability to recognize and treat dysrhythmias. - Occasionally may float to other units but not frequently. - Weekend Shifts: Required 8 shifts per contract. - Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR. - Unit Orientation: 24 hours; includes hospital orientation plus two 12-hour shifts on the unit. - Scrubs: Provided. Additional Information: - Interview Availability: Provide availability for an interview within the next 72 hours. - Vaccine Requirements: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). - RTO: Auto-approve up to 7 days of RTO (not falling on a holiday). Must work 2 out of the 3 major holidays.
