Job Title: Charge Nurse RN Job Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC) Job Duration: Shift: Evenings, Nights, Overnights Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Must-Have: Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a team environment Job Description: - Provide general nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care facility - Make nursing assessments and diagnosis based on residents' health status - Develop and implement a plan of care, and evaluate responses to nursing interventions - Coordinate outside physician visits as needed - Communicate effectively with physicians and family members - Conduct teaching sessions for residents, families, and staff - Uphold residents' rights and promote the choices philosophy - Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate documentation - Maintain a safe and clean environment through safety and infection control procedures - Participate in Quality Management programs to ensure high standards of care - Supervise Nursing Assistants to ensure compliance with care plans - Demonstrate knowledge and skills in IV therapy - Average hourly pay is competitive based on experience level
