Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48-hour option Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Epic EMR preferred Job Description: - Work in a department with a 45-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical patients. - Monitor telemetry in a centralized unit. - Engage with a supportive team, including a floating charge nurse, patient care technicians, and patient transporters. - Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed. - Flexible scheduling allowable on a case-by-case basis. - Wear any scrub color, with the exception of those featuring logos. - Utilize the EPIC documentation system. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Commitment to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios. - RTO parameters are to be determined. - Participate in billable modules hours, which are completed onsite during orientation with recorded transcripts. Additional Details: - Local travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. - Former permanent staff must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler. - The department offers a house discharge nurse who floats across all departments. - Discounted meals and local discounted hotels are available.
