Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Seaford, Delaware. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/18/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Description: General job duties. Types of procedures required. Mix of medical surgical patients, primarily ortho. Care of post-op THR, TKR, TSR, Geriatric fx patient and other fxs as well as medical overflow Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. CPM s Bucks tx Wd Vacs McKesson Computer documentation, AccuDose medication system Required skills and minimum years of experience. General medical surgical at least 2 years experience. Ortho experience is a plus Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS - Must be American Heart Assoc. Active MD or compact state license Shift or schedule requirements. Shifts based on need at time of request includign every other weekend. Will not work on unit without other staff present. No on call requirement Floating to over units/departments. Other Med/Surg units Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 25-34 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 6 or 7 to 1 Dress Code: Navy Scrubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
