Certification Details Required certifications: BLS Job Details Calling all Med Surg RNs WV facility is looking for RN's to work 13 week assignments. This area is 2 hours from 3 ski resorts, has lots of outdoor activities, and lots of culture. Job Requirements Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps BLS required WV or compact license required Schedule Information 12 Hour Shifts: 0700-1930; 1900-0730 with a 1/2 hour lunch break Self-scheduling for perm staff, travelers scheduled as needed Allow block scheduling if unit needs are met Every-other-weekend requirement Holidays depend on needs of the unit Call or standby for low census possible Unit Specific Information Unit 4N Ortho - Neuro (1033) Ratios 1 to 6 Alot of elective surgeries: hips, knees, shoulders; some fractures from falls; back & neck (Neuro-surgeries), as well as general MedSurg Common titratable &/or set rate drips: IV Fluids & PCA pumps Charge Nurse 24/7, may take patients if necessary; Night charge will always take a full patient assignment RT Equipment manageable per RT: Cpap, Bipap & High Flow Remote tele monitoring available Required Unit/Department specific orientation Dress Code: Royal Blue - Scrub jackets not required but must be actual scrub jacket in royal blue if worn Additional Details BLS (AHA) ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE AN UNEXPIRED COPY OF CANDIDATES DRIVES LICENSE
