Certification Details- Required Licenses and Certifications: Current MI RN license, AHA BLS and ACLS
- Charting Experience: Care Scape patient monitors, Epic EMR, Pyxis for medication dispersion
Job Details- Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 72 biweekly. OT after 80 hours worked in 2nd week
- Shift start and end times: 7a-7p, and 7p-7a
- General Job Duties: general nursing skills. Generally will see geriatric patients with CHF or COPD, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, surgical patients admitted for close observation, and other general medical concerns.
- Unit Information: Med Surg, a 25 bed unit Patient Ratio Day 1:4-1:5 NOC 1:6 average
- Scrub Colors required: Any colored scrubs
Job Requirements- Experienced MS RN – 2 + years
- Must have ICU and ER experience
- Strong critical thinking, ability to learn new systems quickly, good teamwork and communication skills, prioritization skills
Schedule Information- Variable D/N
- every other weekend/holiday rotation requirements
Unit Specific Information- Bed size: 25 beds
- Case types: CHF, COPD, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, surgical patients for close observation, general medical concerns
- Patient ratios: Day 1:4-1:5, NOC 1:6 average
- Float Requirements: float to ICU to assist if needed
Additional Details- RADIUS RULE: MUST BE OUTSIDE 50 MILES OF FACILITY
- Shift Requirements: Variable D/N
