- This license is required by the state of NY in order to staff for temporary needs.
- COVID vaccinations not required, however strongly encouraged.
- No Block Scheduling will be considered for this need.
Job Requirements- 2+ years of Current Med Surg - Required
- MUST be willing to float to other units as needed
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
Schedule Information- Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
- RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Unit Specific Information- Glens Falls Hospital Orientation Dates 2024: March: 14, 28; April: 11, 25; May: 16, 30; June: 13, 27; July: 11, 25; August: 15, 29; September: 12, 26; October: 17, 31; November: 14, 21; December: 12, 19
Additional Details- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE - NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Peritoneal Dialysis training - Preferred
- Experience in Oncology Care and End Of Life Care - Highly Preferred but not required
