Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med SurgDiscipline: RNDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelSalary: $2,458.00/weekMedical Specialty: Medical / SurgicalStandard Shift: NightsWeekly Schedule: 3x12Shift Timings: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM; weekend, holiday and call required.Description:Should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU Night Shift.Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.Experience Required:Coronary Care experience needed.Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.Education Required:Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.Certifications / Licenses Required:Must hold current NY State RN license.BLS required or obtained within 03 months of hire.Preferred Experience:Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.ProKatchers LLC is revolutionizing healthcare staffing!
