Job Description:
This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients, following organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN utilizes specialized knowledge, clinical judgment, and nursing skills to provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Assess patient needs, plan individualized care, and implement nursing interventions based on professional standards and patient conditions.
- Care Delivery & Evaluation: Provide direct nursing care, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with organizational policies.
- Supervision & Accountability: Oversee and direct the nursing care provided by others, ensuring high-quality care delivery by self and under the direction of the RN.
- Professional Development: Continuously use the framework for professional nursing practice to develop and enhance clinical skills, and adhere to professional nursing standards.
- Specialized Knowledge & Judgment: Apply specialized nursing knowledge to assess, plan, and deliver care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of patients
