Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med-surg Peds, Med-surg Adult, Critical Care (CCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ER, ICU, or Med/Surg License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Preferred) Must-Have: Ability to float to at least two departments, minimal supervision, strong teamwork skills Job Description: - Work in a modern healthcare facility in a rural location. - Float between the Emergency Room, ICU, and Med/Surg departments as needed. - Perform assessments, prescribe medications, delegate tasks, and coordinate nursing care. - Ensure quality care through established standards, policies, and procedures. - Develop and maintain a written Nursing Care Plan. - Advocate for patient needs and perform supervisory duties for assigned personnel. - Report to Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor. - Schedule includes 3x12 hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required. - Utilize EPIC for Electronic Medical Records. - Provide holiday coverage as needed.
