Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for certain units/specialties; must be AHA certified. BLS - Basic Life Support required; must be AHA certified. PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for certain units/specialties; must be AHA certified. HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement required. State License 1 Verification required. NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required. Job Details Position / Specialty: Medical Surgical RN Shift: 3x12 Days (0645-1915) Avg. Daily Census: 22 patients. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required. First-timers accepted: No. Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float to other units within scope as needed Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Must have active IL license in hand to apply. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift. Special Requirements: Med/Surg experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Spinal cord injuries. Ortho trauma experience required. Experience with surgical drains required. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Job Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience required. Med/Surg experience required. Willingness to float to units within scope of practice as needed. Active IL licensure required. Certification in BLS required.
