Job Description & Requirements3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a EOW Rotation, Holidays as needed Float required. All travelers subject to float between all Cone Health facilities. Holiday policy for our team is that everyone works either Thanksgiving or Black Friday, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and either New Years Eve or New Years Day each year. Staff are given these off per our retention policy in the event we do need everyone scheduled. Minimum 2 years experience required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK! *BLS required. ACLS and NIH preferred. *MS Tele and Tele exp required. *Acutely ill medical- surgical and orthopedic patients. Patient Diagnoses: Acute/Chronic respiratory illness, Post-op general surgery, Post-op general GYN surgery, Post-op total knee and hip replacements, Orthopedics, Acute and chronic pain, Active GI bleeding, CHF/Pulmonary edema, Diabetes: Hyper and hypoglycemic conditions, Renal failure , Drug Overdose Patients with a Clinical Institute Withdrawal (CIWA) score below 7 Suicidal Arrhythmia Radioactive therapy Uncontrolled or new onset of seizures Stable COVID patients The following IV medication drips may be administered on department 300: Heparin TNA Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
