Job Description & RequirementsA facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for a MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN). License: RNSpecialty: MS/TeleDepartment: Tele T6Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AMShift Note: Every other weekend/holidayDuration Weeks: 13Guaranteed Hours: 36.00Requirements:Minimum 3 years recent experience in telemetry. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required. Stroke experience preferred. Should have experience with treatment and management of cardiac arrhythmias. Interpreting rhythms required. Must be willing to float to other medical/surgical units. 36 hours but 24 guaranteed. GFH requires de-escalation training for all units (Welle, CPI or PClientS).Unit Details:- Med Surg-130 beds, Tele 46, 12 overflow beds- Nurse-patient ratio-1:6 nights/1:4 days- Charting: Cerner- Requires BLS. ACLS preferred. Valid New York State nursing license- 3 years current experience and travel experience preferred.- Unit requires De-Escalation training through Welle, CPI or PClient S.
