N Locals accepted: Y Pending License accepted: Y RTO Restrictions: Anything over 2 weeks needs approval Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per 1 week Client may cancel up to: 1 shift per 4 week assignment, 2 shifts per 8 week assignment, 3 shifts per 13 week assignment Float Pool (MS/Tele/Stepdown/IMC units) 12 hour days 0700-1930 13 weeks ASAP start Job Requirements BLS through AHA Management of telemetry Interpretation of cardiac rhythms Management of dysrhythmias O2 Protocol Non-invasive airway management Peripheral line care/management Isolation precaution/PPE Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone) Rapid response team activation Computerized documentation Patient ratios: RN 1:4-6, CNA 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights 1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU No first time travelers Schedule Information 12 hour days 0700-1930 Unit Specific Information The Salem Health Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon Additional Details Clear copy of driver's license required Name change/Discrepancy: Proof of name change on file and in process on the license Education Verification Release/Consent details Certification specifics for various units and positions
