**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Central Resource Pool**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Nights, every other weekend and holiday**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience**License:** SD or compact state RN license**Certifications:** Active BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)**Must-Have:**- Computer charting experience (EPIC)- Willingness to float to any Med-Surg or Tele unit within scope of practice**Job Description:**- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and physical therapists to provide patient-centered care.- Engage in diverse patient care responsibilities ranging from chronic conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, and COVID-19 to complex cases requiring advanced nursing skills.- Utilize medical equipment including mechanical ventilation and cardiac monitoring.- Administer and titrate oxygen, perform moderate sedation, and manage medical-surgical patient care.- Participate in a structured orientation and training program to ensure competency and confident integration into clinical care responsibilities.- Engage actively in unit-specific or organization-wide committees and professional development opportunities.- Advocate for patient safety and high-quality care while developing critical thinking, time management, and prioritization skills.The nursing role fosters a supportive environment that values contributions, suggestions, and recognition of high-performing individuals in alignment with the organization's mission and values.
