Weekly Pay Range - $2159 To $2398**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke Stepdown**Job Specialty:** Medical-Surgical (MS) Stroke**Job Duration:** To Be Determined**Shift:** 7p-7a (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 2+ years in Medical-Surgical with travel experience**License:** Active NY License**Certifications:** Current AHA BLS, NIHSS**Must-Have:**- Up-to-date resume- 2 recent references as MS Charge/Manager RN- Skills Checklist matching specialty- Valid driver's license with an address that matches demographics- NURSYS Report Licenses verification- Experience with EPIC EMR- Request for Time Off (RTO) must be included in application**Job Description:**- Work with stroke patients and those with conditions such as altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis needs, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general med-surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues.- Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.- Administer required drips and medications such as Heparin drips, Lasix, Bumex, and blood products.- Flexibility to float as required across units.- Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the uniform policy.
