Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/25/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 20 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Nursing) Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. This part-time role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying schedules, as there are no set days. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing, specifically with experience in orthopedic, thoracic, vascular, neuro, and robotic service lines. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes during surgical procedures. Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the OR and assist in procedures across multiple specialties. Adhere to all hospital policies and standards, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Participate in on-call rotation, with 6 call shifts required per 8-week period. This includes three weeknight shifts (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.) and three weekend shifts (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.), as well as holiday coverage. Requirements: Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an Operating Room setting, with specific experience in orthopedic, thoracic, vascular, neuro, and robotic surgeries. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Flexibility: Ability to work varying days and shifts, with availability for on-call coverage. About Tekaccel, Inc.
