Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in McCall, Idaho.

Unit Notes:Department: OR | RN- Unit: Surgical Services McCall Hospital Flr 2 - OR RN- # of Suites: 3 OR suites; 1 procedure room- Average # of cases per day: 8- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.- Common Cases: Endoscopies, Cataracts, Hernia Repairs, Laprascopic cases, ORIFs, Total Joints, Arthroscopes, C-sections (ok if noexperience), Trauma.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Orthopedic and trauma. Okay with first time travelers.- Is scrubbing required for RNs: No- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge RN assigned daily from existing permanent staff; Oversees OR, Pre-op, &PACU; Usually doing throughput but may be asked to jump into cases depending on staffing; Travelers not asked to cover this role.- OR techs: Yes- EMR: EPIC- Shifts & Scheduling: Travelers are assigned a schedule by the manager. Permanent staff self-schedule and travelers are expected to fillgaps in core staff schedule; 4- 10 Hr Shifts Per Week- not a set day off per week; Shift Starts between 7 AM- 7:30 AM.- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes, typically 1 day every 2 weeks.- Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, 1 weekend per month, End of shift Friday through Monday.- Holiday/Call Requirements: Rare, may be asked to go into the Holiday rotation.- What is call response time: 30 minutes- Floating Requirements: No- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs provided- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Yes, typically 1 week
