Certification Details- BLS Required.
- OR experience in various surgery areas necessary.
Job Details- A facility near New York City is in need of an OR RN to work a 13 week travel assignment.
- The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts.
Job Requirements- BLS certification required.
- COVID & FLU VACCINES REQUIRED.
- BSN REQUIRED.
- CALL REQUIRED.
- General, Ortho, Neuro/spine, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric, Robotics, Urology, GYN/Oncology Neuro for tumor surgery experience needed.
- Experience with total hip & knee required.
Schedule Information- 12 hour shifts.
- 7a - 3p call as necessary.
Unit Specific Information- 12 Operating Rooms & 1 Cysto Suite.
- 50 – 60 cases per day/per room.
- No Cardio cases at this time.
- Scrub not a requirement for RN.
- Unit based orientation, usually two weeks, with no testing.
Additional Details- Minimum of $1.25 per hour for parking.
- No specific equipment, procedures or skills required besides mentioned qualifications.
