**Job Title:** Operating Room Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** OR Nursing**Job Duration:** 8 Weeks**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours per week**Experience:** Graduate from an accredited school of nursing**License:** Must be licensed in New York**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)**Must-Have:** On-call experience**Job Description:**- Provide professional nursing care in the operating room- Ensure patient safety and compliance with standard policies and procedures- Collaborate with surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, for optimal patient outcomes- Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative assessments and care- Prepare and maintain sterile environment and instrumentation for surgical procedures- Ability to respond to emergencies and work efficiently under pressure- Participate in on-call rotation: one overnight shift per week and one weekend per month from Friday afternoon to Monday morning
