Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-2 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Assessment, critical thinking, teamwork Job Description: - Work in an 86-bed acute care facility offering a full range of specialized services. - Provide care in an expanding unit that is growing from 8 to 12 beds. - Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations. - Maintain a positive and collaborative approach while being an integral member of a high-functioning team. - Address common diagnoses and treatments such as sepsis, post-surgical care, urologic procedures, respiratory failure, CHF, and cirrhosis. - Utilize skills in IV starts, NGs, foleys, and chest tubes for effective patient management. - Float responsibilities to med/surg, telemetry, and sitter needs as required by census demands. - Adhere to a dress code of grey scrubs and present a professional image.
