Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Recent acute care hospital experience required, with 2 years of intermediate/progressive care experience License: Must obtain required license before employment Certifications: Must be willing to obtain necessary certifications before employment Must-Have: Willingness to float to multiple units Description: Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the state board of nursing, apply the nursing process to the care of patients. Teach patients and significant others. Document patient care in the medical record. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient. Weekend schedule will be determined by the facility.
