Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Resource Pool Job Specialty: Stepdown Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Weekend Nightshift Cluster (7p-7a, either Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Willing to wait for submission Certifications: - AHA BLS - AHA ACLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Level 1 trauma experience preferred - Travel experience preferred Job Description: - This position involves working in all MedSurg/Stepdown/Telemetry units. - Candidates must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology. - Expected to wear royal blue scrubs. - Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for MedSurg/Tele. - Each unit comprises up to 34 beds. - Facilities include various specialized units such as Trauma & General Surgery, Ortho Neuro, Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring, Surgical Oncology, and Medical Oncology. - AHA BLS required. - Travel teams are encouraged to be submitted together. - Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years. - Previous travelers who completed a full year must be gone for 2 years. - No orientation hours are provided. - Level of care required is acute.
