Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Required based on unit/specialty for Outpatient Surgery and RRT; Not Required for OR RNs BLS - Basic Life Support: Required for RRT, Histology Tech, SLP, and all RNs; Not Required for Lab Staff, MT, MLT, MLS, or Dietician PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Required for PACU, RRT, Med/Neuro ICU (Cost Center - 106123); Preferred for Outpatient Surgery NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: Required based on unit/specialty CHEMO - Chemotherapy: Preferred, not required for Oncology RNs TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: Preferred, not required for ER RNs Tech Cert Verification - National: Required for MLT, Medical Assistants, Ultrasound Techs, SLP; State License 1 Verification: Required - Primary Source Verification. NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP): NurSys verification prior to facility start. As applicable by Profession NPI Number: NPI Number (National Provider Identifier) must be provided and verified prior to the start of the assignment for all Physical Therapists. NIH Stroke Certification: Required based on unit/specialty CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute: Required for ER and Psych. Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by Profession Competency Exam: Required as applicable to Profession/Specialty Job Details must not reside in Moore County 1 yr exp required 1st time travelers accepted Unit expection is for any missed shits to be made up 1 day shift needed ASAP starts only Department – 2 Reid Cost Center – 106135 Position – RN No of positions – 1 Shift hours – nights 7p-7a Experience - must be experienced in tele/stepdown Start date – ASAP EPIC EMR 12 bed unit 1:4 Ratios will be required to float to less or like units Nurses specialize in caring for patients with moderate to severe medical issues such as sepsis, metabolic encephalopathy, renal failure, respiratory failure, DKA, and other medical disorders. They also care for a population of cardiac patients with NSTEMI, CHF, cardiac dysrhythmias. Nurses in this area initiate and titrate IV drips that require cardiac monitoring and nurse interventions.
