Weekly Pay Range - $2252 To $2502**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 19:00-07:00**Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years**License:** Candidates with a pending state license will be considered**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)**Must-Have:** Epic experience**Job Description:**- Provide nursing care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, and multi-system organ dysfunction.- Competence in the management of medical and surgical populations is required.- Expertise in advanced hemodynamics, including the use of pressor titration protocols.- Proficient in managing antihypertensive, sedative, narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, and advanced monitoring lines such as arterial lines and central venous pressure (CVP).- Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD), orthopedic traction, and infection prevention protocols.- Skilled in the use of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent equipment.- Adaptability to handle a patient load of three high acuity patients on average.- Flexibility in scheduling; weekend track schedules are acceptable.- Nurses with extensive adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU background are ideal candidates.
