Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night - 3X12 - 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association - Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire - National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire Must-Have: - Associate's or bachelor's degree in Nursing Job Description: - Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. - Work independently to complete assignments. - Follow guidelines including physician's orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures. - Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families. - Participate in every other week orientation. - Must adhere to COVID protocols; certain exemptions subject to approval. - Submit a housing application two weeks in advance if utilizing provided housing options. - Holiday coverage is required. - Utilize Allscripts electronic medical records system.
