About this job As a Mother/Baby nurse, also sometimes called a Postpartum RN, you'll be tasked with caring for both mother and child after birth has taken place. Mother/Baby RNs carefully monitor both patients, providing care and watching for any post-birth complications that may arise. Mother/Baby RNs also help counsel new parents on the first steps of infant care prior to their release from the hospital. Qualifications: Basic travel nursing requirements include: 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
