Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Job Specialty: RN Behavioral Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 8pm - 8am, with weekends and holidays as assigned Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year RECENT experience required in BH/Psych License: Active PA license at time of submission Certifications: Handles With Care de-escalation training Must-Have: Epic documentation experience, 1 year recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych Job Description: - Beautiful brand new facility with an ASAP start opportunity - Acute inpatient hospital setting treating adults through geriatric patients and adolescents - Disorders and addictions treated include Mental Health & Behavioral Disorders and Substance Abuse & Addictions - Staffing ratios at 1:20 depending on acuity - Documentation using Epic with paper charting for restraint - Medication system includes Omnicell, pharmacy onsite open 24/7 - Orientation duration of 3-5 days with de-escalation training provided during orientation - Scrub color required in gray - Location in NE PA, in the Scranton Wilkes Barre Metro area, close to a ski resort and 40 miles from NY NJ border.
