Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Psychiatric Adolescent Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-hour shift, variable (flexibility to work other shifts as needed) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar setting License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Must-Have: - Active Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Crisis Prevention (CPI), MANDT, or TEAM certification Job Description: - Provide care in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit - Work 12-hour day and night shifts, as assigned upon arrival - Be flexible and prepared to work different shifts as required - Expected to float to other departments based on qualifications, which may include taking a patient load or performing task-oriented roles - Fulfill roles such as answering call lights and phones as needed - Participate in orientation on Mondays; compliance deadlines must be met to avoid delays - Be available to work during holidays as required - Demonstrate competence in all required tasks and uphold unit safety and care standards Additional Information: - Orientation is conducted on Mondays; prompt compliance with deadlines is essential - This position may occasionally require you to assume charge responsibilities during your shift - Housing information is available upon request or consultation with the facility's resources
