Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Behavioral Health/Psych Job Duration: 104 weeks Shift: Day - 11.5 hours, 3 days per week - 07:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of two years of psychiatric experience required License: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Must-Have: Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description: - Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a behavioral health setting. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Assess patient conditions and plan appropriate interventions. - Administer medications and monitor for side effects. - Maintain patient records with accurate and timely documentation. - Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans. - Participate in therapeutic activities and counseling sessions. - Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
