**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing**Job Duration:** 104 weeks**Shift:** 3x12 Night - 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum of two years of psychiatric experience required**License:** New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification**Certifications:** AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified**Must-Have:** Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak)**Job Description:**- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult behavioral health patients.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Perform thorough assessments to identify patients' psychological needs.- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses.- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.- Demonstrate strong crisis intervention and management skills.- Participate in continuous education and training to maintain clinical competencies.
