Weekly Pay Range - $2209 To $2454**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health**Job Duration:** 16 weeks**Shift:** 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 1 year**License:** RN**Certifications:** BLS**Must-Have:**- Experience in charge nurse roles- Comfortable in all roles on the floor (charge, admissions, med nurse, float position)- Good communication skills- Ability to work as a team player- Dependable and on time**Job Description:**- Work a schedule that includes holidays and every other weekend.- Possibility of floating to similar units as needed.- Uniform will change to navy-blue scrubs on 12/1/24, until then, staff can wear any professional attire within guidelines.- Perform tasks such as rounding, passing out trays, and facilitating patient groups.- Participate in a 3-4 days orientation program.- Staff includes a combination of licensed staff and Mental Health Assistants (MHAs).- Manage a patient population experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal/homicidal ideations, and dual diagnoses.- Ensure transparent communication, provide dependable care, and abstain from using restraints unless absolutely necessary. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, a strong communicator, and committed to patient care within a collaborative team environment.
