Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery. Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.). The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery. Job Requirements 5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months) - REQUIRED Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume - REQUIRED Must have adolescent/child psych experience listed in resume - REQUIRED Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts - REQUIRED Will consider first time travelers PROFILE REQUIREMENTS: Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES RTO cannot exceed 7 days Psych skills checklist (within the last year) 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment Schedule Information Any scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file. RTO will not be approved for 11/24-11/30 and 12/22-1/5 - Travelers must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays, based on the facilities needs. Additional Details Effective 6/24/2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease. Facility housing offered depending on vacancy. Should the traveler choose to accept facility housing, it will be $300-450 depending on which rooms/sizes are available. Agency is responsible for the leasing agreement and is outlined in the Client Specific Exhibit that was signed by your agency.
