- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
Job Details- The shifts will primarily be 7A-7P, however time to time a shift may need to be 11A-11p, 3P-3A, 3A-3P depending on the unit needs.
- Assesses, plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient.
- Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction.
- Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
- Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff.
- Responsible for ensuring the very best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions.
- Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
- Provides direct patient care including, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
- Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.
- Initiates collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members and acts to proactively resolve and facilitate patient needs.
- Actively participates as a team member working toward team goals of the unit and organization.
- Accountable for unit and system specific metrics.
- Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
Job Requirements- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
- The ideal candidate is someone who has strong psychiatric assessment skills and is able to remain calm and professional in all circumstances.
Schedule Information- We use a shared scheduling model with every other weekend and every other holiday required.
- We staff in 8 hour blocks of time.
Unit Specific Information- The unit is team focused.
- The leadership team consists of an Operations Director, a clinical team manager, 2 team coordinators, and 1 nurse educator.
- 28 bed Inpatient psychiatric unit acute care crisis stabilization.
