**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - General, Dialysis, Mental Health**Job Specialty:** Staff Augmentation**Job Duration:** 52 Weeks**Shift:** Day Shift, 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM, with a rotating schedule and work expected every third weekend.**Guaranteed Hours:** Information not provided.**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified.**License:** Current RN license required.**Certifications:** Information not provided.**Must-Have:** Professional conduct in line with standards and compliance with health and correctional guidelines.**Job Description:**- Provide patient care, including administration of oral, intramuscular, and intravenous medications.- Monitor patient medication compliance and perform various treatments.- Conduct or assist with nurse and doctor sick calls.- Manage chronic care clinics and respond to emergencies, providing emergency care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.- Conduct subjective and objective assessments of patients, collect vital signs, and timely document findings.- Collect urine and/or other bodily fluid specimens.- Prepare patients for release or transfer, review patient care, and complete discharge medication orders.- Participate in work-related and institutional training exercises.- Assist other healthcare staff by investigating and documenting problem areas or areas of concern.- Review shift reports, assist physicians with medical procedures, and assume duties in the absence of other nurses.- Counsel and educate patients regarding healthcare maintenance and prevention of disease.- Participate in quality assurance activities and provide training and direction to new nurses and aides.- Act as a resource for other healthcare and security staff regarding healthcare matters.- Provide orientation and training for new healthcare personnel under the Nursing Supervisor's direction.- Serve as the lead clinical authority on-site in the absence of senior medical staff.- Participate in group programming and wellness initiatives.- Perform administrative duties, attend meetings, schedule multidisciplinary team meetings, and handle shift charge duties.- Assist with inventory and ordering of medical supplies.- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to standards of employee conduct.- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
