**Job Title:** Level 3 Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)**Job Specialty:** Radiology RN**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 4x10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, 9 PM - 7:30 AM**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience required. Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred.**License:** Registered Nursing license (New York)**Certifications:** - BLS (American Heart Association)- ACLS (American Heart Association)**Must-Have:** - Telemetry experience**Job Description:**- Responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for IR patients.- Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure in a fast-paced interventional radiology department.- Work in a level 1 trauma center catering to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and observation care.- Provide care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.- Utilize good communication skills and critical thinking abilities.- Join a team that values enthusiasm, flexibility, and organization.- Experience with GI post-procedure care is preferred but not required.If you meet the qualifications and are passionate about providing exceptional care in a high-energy environment, we encourage you to apply.
