**Job Title:** Level 2 Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation**Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical Nursing**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 3x12-hour shifts; combination of days, evenings, and nights. Straight night shifts considered.**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred**License:** Registered Nurse License (New York state license required)**Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS)- Telemetry Experience**Must-Have:**- Two years of Med/Surg experience- New York RN license- American Heart Association BLS certification- Telemetry experience- Recent pediatric experience preferred**Job Description:**- Work with an interdisciplinary team in a rehabilitation setting, caring for a diverse range of patients.- Provide care for patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, oncology, pediatric care, solid organ transplant, heart failure, and other complex medical conditions.- Offer clinical and emotional support to patients and their families during the rehabilitation process.- Work according to unit policy on holidays and weekends.- Participate in an exciting opportunity to enhance skills while aiding patients in regaining independence.This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in a supportive team environment.
